Design

The design is the most important part of your web site. Not only is it the appearance of your site but also the content, usability, and visibility. Your web site will not only be beautiful but will be extremely easy to use. It will also be content rich which is great for your users and for ranking higher in the search engines. I do all of the design process in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. You have full control of how your web site looks and have to approve every aspect of the design.

XHTML

XHTML is an extensible version of HTML. This is the recommended mark up language of the web. All XHTML code that I write is validated to W3C standards so your web site will look the same in every browser. I also organize the code in a way that makes it extremely easy to edit in the future if needed.

HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly

Open standards such as HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly have continually matured over the years and serve as viable alternatives for Flash content. Also, the major browser vendors are integrating these open standards into their browsers and deprecating most other plug-ins (like Adobe Flash Player).

CSS

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. This scripting language is used for presentation of your website. This means all styles (colors, backgrounds, fonts, etc.) are coded in CSS. XHTML and CSS go hand in hand to make your web site beautiful. All CSS code that I write is validated to W3C standards so your web site will look the same in every browser.

SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" search results. Using different techniques I'll help your website rank high in Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing.com and other search engines. This means a lot of free targeted traffic coming to your website.

JavaScript

JavaScript is a scripting language widely used for client-side web development. Javascript helps make your web page more interactive. This language can be used for validating user input forms, adding dynamic elements to your page and so much more.

PHP

PHP is a scripting language designed for producing dynamic web pages. This language makes operating your web site so much easier. It can help put all of your content into a database so you can add, edit and delete pages on the fly.

MySQL

MySQL is the world's most popular open source database software. Pricing

With my consulting business, I don't have set prices for any of my design work. I personally believe that every site and project is completely different and deserves to be treated that way, rather than put into a pre-formed mold.

I look at each project individually in order to give an estimate and I always encourage all of my clients to include everything they truly want in their site or project, without having to worry about sky-high prices.

For my digital photography services pricing is determined by photo location, photo background, lighting, travel time, and usage of images.
